Study in Holes
The more I look at this photo, the more I am drawn to it (don’t get me wrong, I don’t think it’s going up on a wall in my house 🙂 )
The first aspect of this photograph is the pattern formed by the holes. What I particularly enjoy is that the pattern is mysteriously interrupted on the lower right of the photo. What could explain that?
Secondly, the texture of the subject’s surface is incredibly interesting. The darker splashes of color look like they could be from a frenetic painter’s brush. They add life and much character to this photo.
